Auto-display a mini menu after selection

Hi,

It will be convenient to auto-display a mini menu with copy / highlight / underline / strikeout / bookmark action after selection like in Foxit PDF editor.

I mean without the need of a right click action.

It will be very convenient especially when using a stylus.

Thanks for this post and request! I can see it's usability, especially with a stylus, so I did create a FR ticket for this:
#6894: FR: Editor - mini popup menu on text selection without the need to right click (especially with stylus)
It will be reviewed by our devs and if approved - will be worked on. However at this time I can not say if it would be approved, and if approved - when the feature would actually be implemented.

Hi,

As PDFXCE's UI is very customizable, it will be great to make the mini popup menu items customizable as well.

For more context, I'd like to have "Internet search by Google" with only icon in the popup menu.

It will be an advantage over what other PDF solutions already offer.

Historically, we have intentionally not made our right click context menu's customizable due to the variable nature of the selection, but perhaps if this is implemented as a text only function, then a floating selection menu would be a good location to offer that customization.
I will bring it up and see what the team thinks.
