Unintentional selection in Preferences SOLVED

Hi,

I don't know if it's intended but clicking at the very right enables/disables options in Preferences.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Preferences
2. Click here

Solution
Selection should be triggered only when selecting the text or checkbox

Thank you for the report, I am not sure how we managed to overlook this for so long, but yes, this should certainly not be the way things work. I will bring it up with the Dev team to see about getting that fixed.
It seems that most other dialogs have this issue as well, for example OCR and the print dialog, I have already mentioned those in my report, just for the record.

I have posted here before about the exact same issue. In my case, I just got an " " from Daniel, so I don't know how it was handled after that. If the issue was already properly passed on to the developer, then internally the review should have already taken place and the results should be available.

I did pass it on when you posted, but looking back through the history, it was during a large buildup of other requests/reports, and seems to have been missed at the time. This time I have seen a direct acknowledgement from the Devs that this will be seeing some action soon. Terribly sorry we missed the previous one.

Hopefully the issue with the V button in the drop-down list reported on the same topic will also be improved. To me, this behavior seems equally odd.

I am following on that one as well then. From what I can gather, it was a lower priority task, and has likely just been repeatedly pushed down the list as a minor visual oddity, in favor of more important changes. As I have mentioned before, with a small team it is very hard to keep up with everything we see requests for changes on.
