Hello,
I have a licence for PDFXchange Editor Plus.
I also have an intranet in Sharepoint for the company I work in.
I am trying to open documents from the sharepoint directly into PDF Xchange Editor or save PDF directly into the sharepoint.
However, when I do, the following message appears : "The Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, which is necessary for the functionality to work correctly, is missing from the system.
Would you like to download and install it?"
I installed the software following the link that was given but i still have the same error message.
For google drive it works fine but sharepoint and onedrive are blocking.
Could you kindly help ?

Re: WebView2 not fonctionning for sharepoint acess in PDFxchange Editor Plus
Hi, GermainB
the functionality to "Open in PDF-XChange" directly from a SharePoint site and have it save back to SharePoint is a "premium" feature.
It is a part of the PDF-Xchange Pro suite and is not expected to work with an Editor or Editor Plus license.
Additionally, the PDF-XChange Pro installer needs to be run to add the required local files that support the functionality. https://help.pdf-xchange.com/sysadmin/s ... ation.html
I assume you already have the Server side app running, as that is what delivers the right click context menu option on the SharePoint page.
The "Add a Place" for SharePoint you show will allow you to open the PDF directly from the site, but it uses the Editor to browse the files, it does not integrate with your browser.
Which approach are you looking to implement may I ask? The latter is available with an Editor license/installation.
