=== UPDATE ===================================================================
The issue reported below has been resolved in Ver 10.3.1 build 387.
I appreciate all the hard work and efforts of the support and development team.
==============================================================================
Hello all,
I have found that if the named destinations are sorted by page in the Named Destinations pane, and multiple destinations are set on the same page, when a new destination is added, it is added in a rather odd position on the pane. I don't know if this is what the developer intended, but it is at least odd enough to be confusing if you don't know about it.
Seeing is believing, so before I go on, let me show you an example of the continuous addition of new destinations on the first page in Acrobat and PDF-XChange Editor.

In Acrobat, new items are always added to the bottom of the Destinations pane, even if they are sorted by page. On the other hand, in PDF-XChange Editor, new items are added to the center of the named destinations on the same page. Items inserted at odd-numbered times are displayed in the lower half, and items inserted at even-numbered times are displayed in the upper half. To explain in Excel's formula format, if
n destinations are set on the same page, the new destination will be added to the "
FLOOR.MATH(n/2)+1" position of the destination belonging to that page.

Personally, I only set one destination per page, so this behavior is unlikely to cause me any inconvenience. However, some forum users combine multiple pages into one giant page. In that case, the possibility of setting multiple destinations on the same page naturally increases, which may cause confusion due to the difference in behavior.
Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Best regards,
rakunavi
