Insert Empty Pages... Dialog Workflow Nightmare

Post by Zardoz2293 »

This is the dialog I always get for the "default" attributes when Inserting an Empty Page. I cannot imagine any workflow where the LAST USED attributes are not the DEFAULT (in at least the current session.)

Every time the Insert an Empty Page dialog is used, the end-user must RE-SELECT "Pages > Document" and "Destination > Page > Current".

In a single session resetting to the last used attributes can result in having to re-enter many dozens of times. Which often results in making mistakes from having to repeat a mandarin task and interferes with focusing on performing actual work on said document.

I think the end-user would expect ALL of the dialog attributes would be retained from the last used settings.

Hello, Zardoz2293

Thank you for the report, I have reproduced this issue, not only with insert blank pages, but with most of the other "insert" dialogues here. It certainly seems to be a bug of some sort, as the "current" page selection will remain as expected if you do not scroll at all between the two insert actions, however, if you do scroll, it changes to custom with the last used "current page" value, filling in the custom category.

The Dev team is now aware of this issue, hopefully we can see a resolution in the next release. For now, keep a close eye on these options!
