Desire for Ctrl Key Functionality Similar to Microsoft Word
I suggest implementing Ctrl key multi-text selection and formatting, similar to Microsoft Word, for increased editing efficiency.

Hello zhi_yi,
Welcome to our forums.
Please note that text inside a PDF file is quite different than inside a Word document, so the same operations sometimes require different tools.
You can use the Ctrl key to e.g. select multiple comments, however text in a PDF file is trickier, so a non continuous selection with the Ctrl key will not help much in later exiting of the same text.
Can you please share some screenshots of what you do as text selection with Ctrl inside Word and why do you need that - and we will then be happy to point you to the closest similar tool inside the Editor for a similar text editing!?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Desire for Ctrl Key Functionality Similar to Microsoft Word
The main scenarios where I use the Ctrl key for multiple selections are:
1. Selecting multiple pieces of text that need to be highlighted for reminder purposes, where they share similar categorizing factors under certain conditions, and I might use the same color to mark them.
2. Selecting multiple pieces of text to copy them into another document for editing purposes.
Although these uses are simple and not very frequent, they are still very important to me. I can use this feature in other PDF software, but I still hope that this functionality can be added.

Hello zhi_yi,
If you want to highlight several instances of a specific term - you can use the search, and then you can "Highlight search results":
Selecting not connected pieces of text for copying to an external tool is not yet possible. I will check with our dev team to see if they are planning such a feature!
Kind regards,
Stefan
