pen comment not visible

I am an individual user of Acrobat 6 Standard for some years and do not intend to upgrade.
Downloaded Pro version 4 trial to test today. I use pdfs to save information researched on the web and make extensive use of notes and pencil remarks on pdfs.
After creating a pdf page, made notes and pencil remarks on the page.
Opened the Xchange pdf with Acrobat6Std and the pencil remarks were not visible.
How can pencil notes be made visible in Acrobat, or is this a proprietary feature that Acrobat users I send Xchg made pdf's will not see?
The Xchg typing feature is SUPERB.
Will typed notes be visible using Acrobat?

Hi,

You need to update the version of Acrobat you have to a later release - this is an issue with Acrobat not our products I believe.

Should you have further problems - please zip and upload an example.

Yes, it is issue with Acrobat 6.
Into build 0037 we will add workarround for this.
