In normal case, users mostly read pdf files from page one onwards.
So why not always preloading next page into memory?
If user scrolls to next page, it's already loaded into memory and page would open much faster.
Just a small thought

Anything that increases performance would be good, but some people would complain about memory usage.

I think only one page wouldn't use so much memory....

there already is setting for memory and thread management. If this is done in the setting as well, so that people can choose their preference, why not.

Also - the next release 2.037 improves memory usage once again.

Hi,
We will look to add this into an upcoming build - perhaps 2.038 - for now you may find setting the View to Thumbnails may provide some relief.

I know this is a rather old topic, and I don't want to revive it needlessly, but it seems it hasn't been incorporated yet. Would it be that hard?
Pages that I already have opened before load quickly, but the pages I haven't read yet take a moment. An option would really be welcome!

Hi mirrorblade and all,
Currently this is not possible and Version 2 does not lend itself to adding this feature easily - however it will probably find it's place in ver3 of the viewer, which is in development now. It will not find it's place in builds of ver2 I am afraid.
Best,
Stefan
