so how to customize UI?

I tried to right-click on some icons in the toolbar and thought that I'd be able to remove it, or change property, for example to show text, icon, or both.

Downloaded and installed OK, but I need some help on what has changed and what needs testing. I am using the Free version with the Pro features hidden.

Um, downloaded and extracted to a directory (Universal Extractor - v. good for this) and expected to have to install it, but it just runs from the exe file. Is this new?

Looks good - thank you.

I gave the new build 037 a try with using the Stamps, drawing lines, triangles, hexagones, attaching a pdf file to email and sending it and most of the funcitions that came to mind. All worked without problems except the one announced by the Tracker folks on extracting and saving to a new file. PDF Viewer Pro is looking good.

Hi,

I just spent a few minutes with the beta and looks very nice to me. May I sugguest 2 things :

1. in the "Insert Page" function change the default "Source Page Range" to "All" because it seems that I must set the page number in the current default in order to complete the operation.

2. The default destination seems a bit odd to me. The default destination is always one page before the current page I selected.

sample image:

And the last thing is can I insert page from pdf 1 to pdf 2 by dragging the thumbnail?

Nice work!

Thanks n brgds

Ah yes, thanks, missed that bit - RTFM?, moi?

Still interesting that it runs without doing this or needing to be installed.

Yes - the PDF-XChange Viewer can work as portable application. Please see here for the portable download:

https://www.pdf-xchange.com/downloads/users/

Though this does not include help files etc and depending on how you use - some functionality may not be available.

Would it be possible to allow the insertion of a user specified number of blank pages into the document, without the need for a source document ?

This would be useful sometimes to pad out a document.

Also, how come the exe is approx 1.8MB smaller (ie. 6.17MB compared to the previous 7.95MB) ?

Insertion of new empty pages will add into build 38 -- now we don't want to add new functionality while build is amost finished.

RE: Exe size - looks like you usually use the x64 version - the beta is made available only as a 32 bit version for now.

One problem I noticed is that not all the faces from the Faces.pdf are available
(in the Stamp Tool menu) , only the one on the first page is displayed. Then a scroll bar on the right of the stamps pop-up window would be also nice.

Not all pages from PDFs can be treated as stamps -- there are some requirements for stamps.

Can you send me screenshot where there isn't such scroolbar ?

Faces.pdf is your file located in the Stamps folder containing a number of faces, presumably all of them should appear in the stamps menu. Only the one on the first page appears.
Here is the screen shot showing only one picture in the Faces category.

This window contains now a lot of stamps which can be scrolled using the mouse wheel. Here is where I think the scroll bar should appear.
Thanks,
Ben
