Hi, I would like to thank you for your effort. I am trying PDF-XChange version 2.0 build 0036 portable on Windows Vista Ultimate. I opened a PDF that has both Arabic and Japanese scripts embedded and the pages were corrupted. Some text did appear in Arabic in the footnotes but not the main page. I have a link for the PDF. I solved this problem. When I opened the PDF in Adobe Reader 8 it notified me that Arabic Transparent and Arabic Transparent-bold fonts are missing. It seems Vista has removed those two fonts for unknown reason. Both fonts are TrueType fonts. I went ahead and copied the file from XP to Vista.
PDF X-Change now display the PDF correctly. I think PDF X-Change should have pointed out to me that those fonts are missing just like Adobe Reader. What do you think ?
EDIT: Fixed the name of the second font.
