Hey all,
I have a 500 page PDF and set a filter which got it down to 300 pages.
How can I create a new PDF with just the filtered pages?

Hi, shainfamily
thanks for the post. I am not entirely sure what yo mean here:
Am I missing something here?

If your PDF currently says it is 300 pages, and that is your want, can you not simply user "File" then "Save As"?
Am I missing something here?

Hi, shainfamily
sorry - what does that mean to "filter" pages"?
What happens when you use "Save As"?

Hello, shainfamily
We are not sure what you mean by "filter" unless you are referring to the "filter pages" action in PDF-tools? (In which case, this was posted in the Editor forum, not the Tools forum. Let me know and I can move the topic for you)
I will go on the assumption that you meant in PDF-Tools, since we cannot think of a feature the Editor offers which does this. If you have filtered pages with PDF-Tools, you simply need to add the "split/merge PDF" action (select "all pages to one file"), and then "save document" action to the end of that tool, and it should save a copy of only the filtered pages.

Re: Saving Filtered Results
To be more clear, in the search bar I searched for a certain phrase. that narrowed by 500 page pdf to 311 pages.
I would like to print those pages separately.

Hi, shainfamily
now I understand. I am afraid that the Editor does not have such a function. To do this you would need to use PDF-Tools as Dan describes above.
