Remember page view, when switching pages via bookmarks
Hi, PDF-XChange Editor has a useful feature in that it remembers page view when opening and closing a document.
Is the same thing possible when you go to a previously viewed page, by clicking on the bookmark, for that previously viewed page.
Basically viewing pages by clicking on bookmarks rather than scrolling ... and usually have to zoom in to bottom right corner all the time.

Hello dwg11,
Clicking on a bookmark should take you to the targeted page and focus on the target the bookmark is pointing at.
Please enable these options as well:
Regards.

Re: Remember page view, when switching pages via bookmarks
Thanks Dimitar, could you explain again as I don't understand.
What I was referring to was when jumping in between pages by clicking bookmarks that the view would be preserved.
Example
STEP 1: Click on bookmark 1, go to page 1, zoom to bottom right corner
STEP 2: Click on bookmark 2, go to page 2
STEP 3: Click on bookmark 1 again, should hopefully zoom to bottom right corner

Re: Remember page view, when switching pages via bookmarks
Hi, dwg11
that is not how bookmarks work I am afraid. The bookmarks define the zoom level and position on the page and that is where you are taken. In step 1 of your process you navigate away from the defined bookmark, step 3 takes you back to exactly what the bookmark dictates.
If step 3 took you back to the bottom right corner it would not be following the bookmark.
Does that make sense?

Re: Remember page view, when switching pages via bookmarks
Hello, dwg11
If you initially configured Bookmark 1 to always zoom into the bottom right corner, than this would be possible (that can be part of the navigation step) but it would not be possible to split it into two actions; one which only navigates to the page, and another which restores the previous "manually navigated to - [view]" on that page. So in this case, your bookmark 1 would always "go to page 1 and zoom into bottom right corner" regardless of it being the first, or 17th press of the page, and ignoring any manual page navigation which has otherwise occurred after that.
Kind regards,

Hello all,
I believe that this setting is related to the issue, possibly even resolving it:
Edit: just seeing that Dimitar has already pointed to this setting.
Best regards

Re: Remember page view, when switching pages via bookmarks
Thanks for additional comments.
Yes I did try that and it changed the zoom on next bookmark selection which was not wanted, and when revisiting bookmark, the location was the default top left hand corner (wanted it to go to bottom right).
What I was trying to do was too probably much to ask for in the first instance. Theme was to compare 2 separate pages at different zoom levels and different locations within the page. Understand that's not how bookmarks work when set in the first instance.

If I understand this part correctly, maybe this is not the right approach.Theme was to compare 2 separate pages at different zoom levels and different locations within the page.
Maybe one of the viewing options will help better!
Regards.
