Cannot select text

Using the version dowloaded this morning, both normal and portable.

With my current document (see note), I can't select and copy the text in the ordinary way ===> the only way I can see to get to the text is to "open the popup note", most inconvienient for my purpose.
- I don't have this problem with other documents opened in PDFXViewer
ocument related
- My current document behaves normally if I open it with foxit.

Is there a setting I should switch to modify this behaviour ?

Hi Chris,

I suspect the content is not text - but either image based or text drawn as a series of curves etc - please feel free to email the file and we will advise :

Content is text... as I said, I can select and copy it normally using Foxit.

I've sent you the PDF. Hope you can find a solution as the thumbnails would be very useful.

Thanks for the file - I can see now the problem - some text is selectable and some is not.

In the end, this file is really a rogue document. I ended up using OCR.

I might get more form the same source, so do let me know if you find a solution.

To be honest - its a strange one and on investigation we provide everything that both Foxit and Adobe do.

All text they offer selection for - we also support.

Some items that may appear to you as text - are in fact not text but 'curves' and and cannot be selected in either of the other products mentioned too.

e.g.: The 'ITT' and the 'Engineered for Life' text.
