Move objects in horizontal-vertical (aka ORTHO) SOLVED

Is there a way to lock the movement of objects to vertical-horizontal? when i click in the image to move it, even with snaps, i cannot restrict the movement, having little deviations...

Hello joxeme,

If moving with the mouse - no.
However you can use the Selection->Transform to move the object to any coordinates you like:

Or you can click and select the object and then use the arrow keys to move it in only one of the two directions.

Hello, There... This issue has been flagged as solved but it's not! This is barely a workaround with serious usability collaterals.
As stated in many other similar issue reports like this, SHIFT+mouse (for moving) or CTRL+SHIFT+mouse for copy and moving locked on one axis is standard since decades with 99% of similar software.

This issue has been flagged as solved but it's not!

I'm not sure if this is the feature you're looking for, but as reported in the following topic, starting with build 393, you can now move objects with angle snapping enabled in 15-degree increments by dragging them while holding down the Shift key.

• Since build 393, holding down the Shift key while dragging an object now works with angular snapping every 15 degrees
