Form field default formatting / applying/copying formatting

It seems that there is no option for this?

What if you want to apply the same formatting ... I know you can select multiple stamps and change the same properties in the properties pane, but I would like to copy and apply properties from an already customized form field

Do you perhaps mean these buttons?

They are only accessible through the right click context menu (by default), while the field is selected for editing (usually with the "select fields tool). It is not available while "filling" the form field, a Form Creation tool must be in use.

my bad! I was just confused by not seeing in the format tab,
sorry for opening this pointless thread.

What confused me was that I used "make current text format default", instead of "make current properties default"
