Whenever I open files created with the free PDFCreator (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/) the contents are completely scrambled in pdf-XChange-Viewer (look fine in Acrobat or Foxit). The same is true for the first page of all the files from jstor.org (which is a major problem because ~48% of all files used in the humanities come from that page, that is a big usergroup). Apparently these have been created by iText (http://www.lowagie.com/iText/).
I've included a sample file from both sources in the attachment (only first page from jstor-file, shouldn't be a copyright-problem).

Sorry, see no difference (just small difference in font rendering, as usual).
Can you provide screenshot(s) illustrating the problem?
And please ensure that you are using lates build.

Ok, sorry, entirely my fault. I'm a fan of portable versions and had simply copied the executable from the portable version onto my desktop. This worked fine, except for these files. Works fine now, with full install, also works fine with portable if the entire zip is extracted.
