No. Which version of Opera and which version of PDF-XChange Viewer? Have you enabled the plugin in PDF-XChange Preferences, File Associations?

Works in Opera 9.27; haven't tried it in 9.5 yet.
PDFs will open in Opera (the annoying PDFs that don't give a choice to download them). I haven't ticked 'Display PDF in browser', btw.

the version I am using is opera 9.27
It does not work well in my pc (windows 2003 sp2)

http://www.myilibrary.com/Browse/open.asp?ID=18699
anybody can try this address, whenever you open a book, it does not show the pdf in the right panel of the page but show a dialog asking save or open the file....
acrobat reader works well here

of course I set it as the defaulr pdf browser (file association) and enable it "display pdf in browser"..

The plugin works fine in Opera Beta. Copy the plugin npPDFXCviewNPPlugin.dll from the Tracker folder C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\pdf-viewer\ to C:\Program Files\Opera 9.5 beta\program\plugins. Then in Preferences, Downloads, select the plugin for the PDF file type.

Of course we are interested - but if we cannot reproduce - we have no way to test and correct.

If you can help us to reproduce - we are only to happy to fix it .
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards

Just tried in the latest Beta (10005). Opera crashes just after trying to open the PDF.
Works OK in 9.27, so I'd guess it's Opera that is, well, Beta.
I'm not using 9.5 for anything serious yet.

The plugin is working fine in the latest build 10005.

I doubt if there is any point in trying to fix the plugin if it does have problems in Beta software as the problems may be caused by Opera, and not by the plugin.

Very true - I'm 'playing' with the Beta, so not worried about faults with it.

Trying to make software OK with a Beta is a waste of time.
