I love PDF X-Change and can't find anything as good natively on Mac (PDF Studio comes the closest).
Has anyone used PDF X-Change on Mac? How did you do it? I've used it a little under Parallels (and it seems to work fine) but I'm trying to move away from Parallels since it relies on Windows 11 (which I refuse to use once Recall is released) so I'm hoping others have used other methods.

Re: using PDF X-Change on Mac?
Hello wilcoxon,
I believe there is a version of Wine for Mac as well. Not sure which version of windows is used in that but it is worth a try!
For now we do not have plans on trying to develop a native Mac version of our software.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: using PDF X-Change on Mac?
If it's of any help, here's another saga on PDF X-Change missing on MAC.
MY *best* investment was a licence for PDF-X-Change, on several computers, and I'm not promoting anyone here. Although i've explored alternatives, maybe not all, I found that PDF-X-Change is unequaled for the tasks I need: editing, compressing, forms control...
I am constrained to a MAC Pro at work. So, quite often, I remote access my home server to do things I evidently cannot do on a MAC: upload to my home server, process, then download back to my MAC. This means I need to keep open a sensitive port on my home server.
I understand porting to Apple code is a big task. But what are the issues with a HTML version ? Is it as big a task as porting to Apple ? Perhaps yes, I don't know. All I know is that I operate 8-10 hours per day on a MAC, desperately wanting the functionalities of PDF-X-Change.
Help ?

Hello, claude vidal
No matter which avenue we explore, "porting" the Editor anywhere would not be easy. A very large number of our systems rely on core windows functions to operate. We effectively would need to rebuild all of those and incorporate them as baseline aspects of such a version of the software. Then we have to consider ongoing maintenance of those systems afterwards, and the the difficulty of ensuring we offer similar presentations of features between two versions which may need separate code bases...
It may be something we explore in the future, but I can promise you it is not a simple task no matter how we slice it, and at this time, our Dev team is more than busy enough with ongoing feature requests and other items we have in the works.
Kind regards,
