RT#7370: FR: Display Grid lines centred on the origin - so from the bottom up when "Bottom-Up Y axis" is selected

Hello all,

The grid lines are displayed with the upper left corner as the origin, but when the Y-axis is inverted, it would be better if the grid lines are displayed with the lower left corner as the origin.

In the verification video, an A4 size document is displayed in horizontal split-view mode, with the upper side of the view zooming in on the upper left corner of the page at 6400%, and the lower side of the view zooming in on the lower left corner of the page at 6400%. The grid line spacing is set as 10 pt both vertically and horizontally, and further subdivided into 10, so the grid lines are displayed at 1 pt intervals on the screen.

Since the height of A4 is 841.89 pt, the grid line and rulers will be mismatched by 0.89 pt when the "Y-axis bottom up" option is enabled.

Of course, if you set the grid line offset "From Top" to 0.89 pt, the grid and rulers will match. However, it would be better if the offset setting field were changed to "From Top/Bottom" from "From Top", and the input value were interpreted as "From Top" if the option to invert the Y axis is disabled, and "From Bottom" if the option is enabled.

As in the example above, the ruler and grid lines match only when the grid spacing is set to an integer multiple of the ruler unit. Therefore, for users who freely set the grid spacing without worrying about the ruler units, it may be insignificant whether the grid lines match the rulers or not.

However, if it has no effect on users who do not particularly care, and if it can satisfy the wishes of some users, it seems to make sense to have the origin of each coordinate match the grid lines and the rulers.

ich wollte nachfragen, wie weit dieses Feature Request in der Bearbeitung ist.
Auch mir ist es wichtig die Gitternetzlinien inklusive des Einrastens von links unten einheitlich definieren zu können.
Oder es als Javascript workaround zu ermöglichen.
