Re: Link Indicator
Hello Sqyide,
Can you please share with us a sample file or a screenshot of the "Link Inficators" that you would like hidden?
If it is the actual link rectangles - those are only visible when you have the "Add/Edit Links" tool active, and if it is something else - it might be part of the document's content, so there would not be an automated way to 'hide it', however we might still have some recommendations if we do see what you mean with those "Link Indicators".
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Link Indicator
Hello Sqyide,
Thanks! I am not sure whether the red rectangle was added for you to illustrate what you mean (with the bold text below), or if the red rectangles are the issue itself. Can you please share with us a sample page as well?
If the text has been made bold by the author of that document in order to indicate that there are links over those specific words - there is no quick and easy way to make that text not bold I am afraid!
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Link Indicator
Hello Sqyide,
Thanks! Those look like comment annotations but might be link objects with borders. Without a file it will be a bit harder for us to try and assist but I will still try!
I suspect that this is not really an issue with our Editor handling some objects incorrectly but rather unusually created annotations or links in your file..
if those are proper link objects - you should be able to open the Links pane (View -> Panes -> Links): And then select maybe all of your link objects and remove any border they could have had added.
If the Links pane is empry, or the link objects themselves do not have that border - the those rectangles could be actually comments/annotations. If that is the case please open the comments pane (Ctrl + M), and check whether you can see any items in there.
If they are there - you should be able to e.g. group them by type, and then select and remove red rectangles from your file.
I presume that those same rectangles are shown when you open this same file in other PDF viewers - like e.g. your browser?
If neither of the above helps - is there a non sensitive file experiencing the same issue that you can share with us?
You can also e-mail us to [email protected] so as to not make the file public. We will only use it for testing and then destroy all copies of the file.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Link Indicator
The comments pane is empty.
I do not see a links or editor section on the Viewer software

Re: Link Indicator
Hello Sqyide,
Apologies! I didn't see that you did post in the Viewer section of the forums! The Viewer has been discontinued for over 10 years now, so it is a bit of a rarity these days for anyone to still use it! Yes - I do not believe that there was such a Links Pane in the Viewer indeed - so that might not be an option for you! Can you select those objects one by one and adjust their properties to remove this border?
Kind regards,
Stefan
