When HUION LCD drawing tablet is used with Logitech mouse, "Logitech LampArray service" interrupts drawing erratically SOLVED

Hello all,

When using HUION Kamvas Pro 19 with a Logitech mouse and running the HuionTablet application, when drawing with the pen, the drawing is interrupted erratically in the middle and the line cannot be drawn satisfactorily. I learned from a post on another forum that stopping the "Logitech (Logicool) LampArray Service" solves this problem.

In the following verification, I am continuously writing in a circular arc from the left side of the page to the right side at a constant speed. In the case where the service on the top of the page is enabled, it appears at first glance that I am stopping to draw a line in the middle of the page, but in fact the drawing is only interrupted by a freeze on the system side, and I am actually continuing to move my hand at a constant speed. The same is true when I write text; I trace the text on the light gray sample, but only in cases where the service on the top of the page is enabled, the text is extremely choppy.

My mouse is a Logitech (Logicool) M570 wireless trackball from a long time ago, so it does not have the modern features such as the lighting feature. Still, it was installed automatically with Windows Update, so any user with a Logitech mouse may be widely affected.

Of course, this is not a problem with PDF-XChange Editor itself, and any application that runs on a Windows Ink base will be affected in the same way. However, if one encounters this problem while using the PDF-XChange Editor, the idea of stopping the "Logitech (Logicool) LampArray Service," which seems to have nothing to do with it, would not normally occur to one. It took me several months to arrive at this solution , so I am posting it in the hope that it might be useful to someone else someday.

In addition, I am personally looking for a way to turn off the pen cursor when hovering the pen in situations where the HuionTablet application is running, as I have posted on this topic. If anyone knows how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know.

Additional information (updated 3/11/2025)

After getting the Kamvas Pro 19 firmware updated from M220_240115 to M220_241220 at the HUION service center, the above problem no longer occurs even when the "Logitech (Logitech) LampArray Service" is running. However, after updating to M220_241220, there is still a problem that the pen cursor does not disappear when hovering, even if "Show cursor" is turned off in the Windows Ink settings (See this post for details).
