How to keep idented text on all new wrapped lines like in notepad++?
Here are two pictures, Notepad++ and PDF Xchange. How can I keep indenting text that is in same line even on wrapped new lines that form? I made PDF by importing txt file. During import when selecting txt file for import, I chose for "new paragraph mode" the option "each newline character starts a new paragraph". I already tried enabling: options - text format - paragraph: various options and naumbers here, but none helped.
Notepad++ or how I want it to be:
PDF Xchange or how it is:
Indent one line of text

Go into Edit Text mode
Right-mouse-click in the text that needs other alignment
Click "Paragraph" in the shortcut menu
In the "Paragraph Options"-dialog-box : change "Indentation" :
> "Left" to 2 cm instead of 0 cm
> "Special" to (No) instead of 2 cm

Re: Indent one line of text
Doesn't work. Also I am looking for method to do that automatically for whole file during import.
I tried changing various paragraph parameters during import and when editing text, but nothing helps.
Here is how it looks like when I do that.

Re: Indent one line of text
Hi,
I made a TXT test file (attached here, included in a ZIP) and opened that in PDF-XChange Editor via File > New Document > From Text.
In Notepad++ you can "Show All Characters" (icon in the toolbar). We can clearly see the TABs, CRs, LFs.

When opening that file in PDF-XChange Editor, the presentation is not the same anymore.

@PDF-XChange Support
Request for a better conversion:
- only create a new paragraph when there is a CR, LF
- option for keeping Left Indent as long as there is no CR, LF
-- if this option is turned off, then only First Line Indent
Kind regards.
Willy

Re: Indent one line of text
Hello, Willy Van Nuffel
Notepad++ is not what our plain txt conversion is based on, Notepad itself is, and as you can see: The indent does only affect the first characters in the "line" when word wrapping is active in Notepad.
I will pass this along to the Dev team for consideration, but I cannot make any promises here.
[Edit]: I am sorry to say that this suggestion for change has been rejected at this time. Perhaps it will be reconsidered in the future.
Kind regards,
