My request below was fulfilled by Ver 10.6.0 build 396.
I appreciate all the hard work and efforts of the support and development team.
==============================================================================
Hello all,
This post is a future request for the Launch Application command, which is located in the lower right corner of the window by default.
As I mentioned in this post, I have registered the Launch Application command with the scrollbar option changed to ON and OFF for the PDF-XChange Editor executable, respectively. I have also registered the portable version of build 331 for the reasons mentioned in this topic. However, tooltips does not show the difference in application names and arguments, and since they are all PDF-XChange Editor executables, I cannot distinguish them by icons. Therefore, when I am unsure about the current selection, I am forced to choose from a drop-down list.
So, currently, tooltips only displays the command name "Launch" and the file path of the executable file, but it would be appreciated if the application name could also be displayed (see Point 1 in the figure). Also, in Windows, you can freely specify an icon file by specifying an ICO file or shell32.dll etc. in the shortcut properties dialog, and similarly, it would be appreciated if it were possible to register an icon or dll file as well when registering a Launch Application in the Preferences dialog (see Point 2 in the figure).
Best regards,
rakunavi
