Hi,
Usually to resize the content of the page leaving the size of the page unchanged I do: resize page > position setting and enter the value, is there another way more convenient and visible in preview like when you manually resize an image inserted in the PDF by moving the mouse to the corner of the image?

There is no way to resize using mouse interaction, but the resize pages tool does offer a number of methods for how to handle resizing. If for example you need a specific paper size, the "standard" option presented there would allow you to scale a file to A4 more easily than you can by typing in values.
