[suggestion] Display split lines off the page

Currently, the lines along which the page is cut are displayed only within the sheet and may be difficult to distinguish. I often have difficulty finding these lines even when I know approximately where they are. Moreover, there is no mechanism for quickly jumping to a line; double clicking is not used, as one might expect.

I suggest displaying page cut lines in the same way that Adobe Photoshop displays guides (extending off the page). And, accordingly, you can drag them by any part of them, regardless of whether it is located above the page or beyond.

The guides are unique, while those split lines you are specifying could be applied to more than one page.
I will ask our UI devs for their opinion on that suggestion and if necessary - we will make a FR ticket.

Thanks, I know the differences between guides and split lines. And they have no meaning in the case of the "Split Pages" window, which can only display one page of a document at a time. Split lines cannot have a beginning or an end, it is not a segment. The Adobe Photoshop screenshot was provided to show a visual style that would be more convenient for split lines in the "Split Pages" window than the current style of displaying split lines in segments no longer than the width / height of the page.

Is there any response from the developers regarding adding extensions of page divide lines beyond the pages?

In the current version of PDF-XChange Editor, the problem of poor separator visibility remains relevant:
