Text font size problem

Hello,

I have a problem with the font of my PDF documents. As you can see on the screenshots, my font is smaller than normal.

Can you tell me how to correct this?

You appear to be using the "Viewer" which was discontinued well over 10 years ago now. The only way I can suggest to "fix" this would be to install and use its successor, the PDF-XChange Editor which is currently on version 10.5. You can download the Editor here:

As stated on the top of the support page, it is a rule to use the latest release when posting any issues on this forum. So, what Daniel says is most likely true, but I would like to comment on something that concerns me.

Please ensure you are using the latest release of the product in question before reporting any issues, as they may have already been resolved if you are using a previous build.

First, the file you are citing is probably the one at the URL below. In cases like this, it may be helpful to provide specific information about the file that is causing the problem, if possible, to better resolve the issue.

From your screenshot, it looks like you are using PDF-XChange Editor. Of course, I don't know up to the version, but the file in the URL above could be successfully viewed with a PDF-XChange Viewer that is certainly older than that. So, if other problems were involved, updating may not improve the situation.

Also, given the asterisk at the end of the window title, it is possible that this problem occurred after editing the original file. If so, you might be able to get better information if you could provide the specific steps you took.

The portable version allows you to check the behavior of the latest version of the software without affecting the installed version at all, so I recommend you to check it. In my environment, the file in the above URL is correctly displayed with the latest version of PDF-XChange Editor, build 395.

Rakunavi is correct, my assesment of the product there was hasty, this looks like versions 5 or 6 of the Editor most likely. In testing a bit more, all versions of V5 and 6 which I have tested seem to render the text in this file correctly on my end, so it could be something other than the version having an impact, perhaps an error with installed fonts, or another OS based issue. In any case, an updated versions of the Editor will still be the first point for troubleshooting.

If the issue persists after updated to V10.5.2.395 (or V10.6, if you are reading this late), please let me know with a screenshot of the appearance on your end, as well as a copy of the version of the file you are working with directly, just incase there have been some changes in the time you held the file locally, which are not present in the web version Rakunavi found.
