It seems that the menu to export only the selected bookmark range to pdf (the function to export as a .pdf file format, not a .xcbkm file) has completely disappeared since Build 10.6.0.396. Are there any plans to bring this feature back?
Because it is very convenient to extract and manage only the necessary parts from a PDF with a large number of pages as bookmarks, and it is a great function that other PDF programs do not have.
I hope the feature will be supported again in the future.
Is exporting selected bookmark range to pdf no longer available?

Re: Is exporting selected bookmark range to pdf no longer available?
Hello EndUser,
As you say, since build 396, the second request I made in this post has been implemented, and the Bookmarks pane options menu and context menu have been revised as a result.
So if you want to extract pages by sections of bookmarks, you will need to change your method. Specifically, after making a selection in the Bookmarks pane, the extract is performed from the options or context menu for that selected page in the Thumbnails pane. I imagine that the developer probably had trouble organizing the default menu items in the Bookmarks pane, as adding more would have resulted in too many of them overflowing the screen.
However, the legacy commands continue to exist, so the Customize Toolbar dialog can be used to restore the same menu items as before to the Bookmark pane's options menu.
Best regards,
rakunavi

Re: Is exporting selected bookmark range to pdf no longer available?
Hello, everyone
We have just received an email referencing this topic, and I wanted to followup here for anyone who may have questions about it. Here is the relevant part of my reply to that email, in hopes that it helps anyone else who is looking for this function. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
- The second ("Target pages (Extended)") with select the exact pages that are referenced, and those their Direct Descendants reference (A new handling option).
- The third ("Pages from entire section") will select all pages between the selected bookmarks, unless an unselected bookmark interrupts that, in which case it will start again from the next selected item (The old "section" handling).
Kind regards,

Each of the 3 options from the "select" menu offers a mouseover description of their purpose, but in effect: - The first ("Target pages") will only select the exact pages that are referenced (the old "page" menu handling). The new "select" menu is intended to replace this function, it offers more flexibility in what is being selected prior to the extraction action, and allows for some other functions, such as watermarks, to leverage the bookmark page associations. After you have used the Select > "target page", "[...]Extended" or "pages from entire selection" function, the thumbnails pane will open, where you can then right click, use the dropdown, or click the buttons on the organize tab, to perform a large selection of actions to the defined pages, including extract pages. Using most of these options with a thumbnails selection active will result in the new "selection" option being enabled by default, which includes all pages which the previous tool just selected:
- The second ("Target pages (Extended)") with select the exact pages that are referenced, and those their Direct Descendants reference (A new handling option).
- The third ("Pages from entire section") will select all pages between the selected bookmarks, unless an unselected bookmark interrupts that, in which case it will start again from the next selected item (The old "section" handling).
Kind regards,
