This used to happen several years ago and I thought it was fixed but apparently NOT.
If a page is zoomed-in enough so that its Thumbnail shows the entire page but with a rectangle indicating what part of the page is showing in zoomed-in region in the app window. If the user selects the center of the page, the preview rectangle in the Thumbnail will be placed approximately in the center of the Thumbnail.
However, if the user selects anywhere else on the page, the preview rectangle will be placed at the inverse of the Y-axis (I don't see a problem with the X-axis). In other words, if the selection is 1 inch from the bottom, the preview rectangle will be 1 inch from the top and vice versa.
Likewise, if you drag the preview rectangle around the Thumbnail, you will see the rectangle (and active app window) move in the opposite vertical direction.

Re: BUG REPORT: Inverse Active Window Placement from Thumbnails
Hello, PHK
I cannot seem to reproduce this issue, could I ask you for a settings export (File > manage settings > export settings) As well as a copy of any document you can reproduce this issue with? Given your blurring of the sample I presume this may contain some sensitive information, so you can upload both of those here if you wish to avoid posting them publicly: https://files.pdf-xchange.com/s/MD9yfDmxzJHQ2MS
Kind regards,

Yeah, me, too. There must have been some anomaly with that file in that opening that created the problem because later openings of the same file did not reproduce the dreaded result.
If I can see the problem reproduced in a reportable fashion, I will do so.

Hello, PHK
Thank you very much, the upload link I sent there will expire in about a week, but if this comes up again in the future, let me know and I can re-open it for you.
