Cropping and deleting selected area

Hi, I'm wondering if the crop function has the possibility of working "in reverse", that is, in a document I would not like to capture, isolate the selected part, but delete it from the document.
Is it possible?

Hello Davide78,

You may want to use the "Select and Delete" tool or the "Mark for Redaction" tool.

Select and Delete works differently, maybe it depends as always on the installed version...
Mark and delete looks like exactly what I need!

At the end of the procedure "mark and delete" is the selected part deleted or hidden?
Mark and "delete" seems unequivocal but it's always better to ask...

If you ever want to check if something is truly deleted, trying to click on that area, with the "select comments" "Select fields", and "edit content > all" tools each in succession will allow you to confirm that manually. Please do feel free to try and see.

In the case of this specific tool, yes, the content would be deleted, similar to redaction.
