Installing PDF Xchange viewer alongside Xchange editor

Hello, we currently have the latest version of PDF Xchange Editor installed, along with PDF Xchange Viewer free version 2.5 Build 201 (very old I know). We have software that specifically uses the viewer only and this works fine.

We have tried updating the viewer to the last version updated Build 322.10 to fix an issue opening certain PDFs, but when we do this it seems to force PDF Xchange Viewer to use the Pro version, and will open certain PDFs with a watermark over the PDFs. Is there a way we can force PDF viewer to use the free version?
