Converting to PDF/A error

Hi,

When saving to PDF/A i get the following error: (tried a workaround by Printing the actual PDF as...PDF and it gets fixed, but don't understand since i get a recommendation here to NOT use never Print as PDF method when creating PDF... (thus, use Save as instead, from Word). in fact printing the PDF to PDF doubles it's size!!

Well i got the PDF/A without any errors from ilovepdf.com, so it's "fixed" but somehow concerned in not being able of doing with PDFXChange...

ps. i searched the .doc for "Arial MT" but it does not contain it...¿

Can you please send us a copy of the document before you try to make it PDF/A as well as the result you got from that third party resource?
If the file is sensitive - can you please send it to support@pdf-xchange.com with a link back to this topic?

I'd like to take a look and then if we can reproduce this - will ask our devs to also investigate why this is happening!

We are still awaiting a message from the Dev team on this, but I do see they have moved Dimitar's initial report into their "completed" category, which is promising. It could indicate this issue being resolved and planned for the next build, but I cannot say with certainty until I hear it "from the horses mouth" so to speak.

Either Dimitar or myself will return here as soon as we have heard directly from them.

I have heard back from the others, and it seem this issue is still ongoing, but we have a ticket made for tracking its progress now:

Note that all tickets are internal only, but if you cite this ticket number in the future, we will be able to quickly locate any information on it.
