Paste Snapshot without white space
This is likely a stretch, but I'd like to take a snapshot and past it without the background or with spaces removed. This probably isn't possible, so as another option to achieve the same thing, it would be nice to use "edit" and the copy/paste the items. Except keep these items grouped so they can be moved/rotated, etc.

Hello RFreund,
Grouping is not really present in the PDF specification, so it's not something that can easily be offered.
However making a selecting of multiple objects should allow you to move them together, however once you deselect those - there's no linger any "group" for those same objects.
You can try to e.g. export a PDF page to image format with transparency, and that might allow you to then have a file without the white background if that is what you wanted to achieve.
If I've not fully understood what you require, maybe you can show us some samples (with screenshots or a sample file) and we will take another look?
Kind regards,
Stefan
