I have found that when comments are placed above the base content text, trying to add highlight by dragging the mouse from directly above the comment may not work.
The sample file consists of two pages, with comments placed on the left and right side of each page. The blend mode of the comment on the left side of the page is set to "Normal", and the blend mode of the comment on the right side of the page is set to "Multiply".
- Left side of page 1 (Line Comment, Blend mode: Normal)
- Right side of page 1 (Line Comment, Blend mode: Multiply)
- Left side of page 2 (Rectangle Comment, Blend mode: Normal)
- Right side of page 2 (Rectangle Comment, Blend mode: Multiply)
- Left side of page 2 (Rectangle Comment, Blend mode: Normal)
- Left side of page 1 (Line Comment, Blend mode: Normal)
- Right side of page 1 (Line Comment, Blend mode: Multiply)
- The capture software used (ScreenToGif) displays a yellow circle around the mouse cursor when the left mouse button is clicked.
What is even more curious is that when you go back to the left side of page 2 in Step 5 and add a highlight, you can somehow add a highlight that you could not add in Step 3, even though you went back to the left side of page 1 in Step 6 and to the right side of page 1 in Step 7, you can add highlights in the same way.
However, if you change the highlight color to green, you will not be able to add highlights again as before. The rest of the steps are the same as in the first round. Note that besides changing the highlight color, the exact same effect can be achieved by adding a highlight where there is no comment.
Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Best regards,
rakunavi
