Currently, the default names for PDF-Tools Settings File and PDF-XChange Editor Settings File are "PDF-Tools Program Settings.pdts" and "PDF-XChange Editor.xces" respectively.
I suggest changing the user-suggested name "PDF-XChange Editor.xces" to "PDF-XChange Editor Program Settings.xces", or changing "PDF-Tools Program Settings.pdts" to "PDF-Tools.pdts".

Re: Consistency of default naming for settings files
Hello Jensen Head,
Thanks for your suggestion! I will pass it on to our devs for consideration!
p.s. Our devs got back to me and informed me that those files have been changed to:
PDFXChangeEditorSettings.xces
PDFToolsSettings.pdts
Kind regards,
Stefan
