I have a task to compare a large number of PDF doucments and mark the differences. PDF Exchange Editor came to mind and I saw that Editor Plus is needed for this functionality.
The documents are technical drawings. They comprise vector linework, text, images. Will the compare tool pick up changes to all of these types of object, including font and lineweight changes? Is there a built-in report tool to show the differences, and is there a way to batch process all this?
I don't have a licence for Editor Plus yet, so I havent' been abel to check myself. Thanks.

Re: Questions about the document comparison tool
Hello, FDP
All premium features, including document comparison, can be used without a license in place, the only limitation being that if you save the output (In this case, the comparison file), demo stamps will be added to it.
I would highly recommend that you test it out, to see what it can offer you.
While the comparison tool is able to do many of those items, it is not yet fully functional, and is limited in some respects, For text content it is able compare the content, position, font size/color, etc, but for content like images it is considerably more limited. And yes, the tool does include an itemized breakdown of the detected changes, including filtering options, so you can hide results you do not need to compare at that particular moment.
Regarding batch processing, no, at this time, we do not offer any method of batch comparing files. You need to manually select the two input files you need for each comparison.
Kind regards,
