[bug]Advanced search does not search item in CONTENTS
The search function does not search items in content in a book while the find function does. Can this discrepancy be fixed? they should behave similarly by default.

Hello sibojang9,
I don't know if the file you have open is the same as the file I found in my online search, but you should see the search results for the bookmark followed by the search results for the page text. It would be better if you scroll down the search results a bit more.

Re: [bug]Advanced search does not search item in CONTENTS
I can reproduce your results, but it demonstrates another issue. Since the content is located in the beginning of a book, why should its search results be put at the end? It is very counter-intuitive and who would bother to look from the end? I suggest reversing the order of the search results.

Hello sibojang9, thank you for the feedback.
You may want to turn off the display of bookmarks in the search results.

Re: [bug]Advanced search does not search item in CONTENTS
Hello, sibojang9
I just wanted to add a little here. Bookmarks are shown first when they are included in search and a term matches one of them, because unlike a direct text search, bookmarks are specifically designed as an "intended destination". In turn it is far more likely that if a term matches a bookmark, that link will contain the content you are looking for, than it is for the multitude of page text results.
As Rakunavi said, if you do not wish to see those results, you can uncheck the bookmark group in the Search options.
Kind regards,

Yes, that workaround is useful. However, can this software be made more intuitive and user-friendly? Without this special education, I do not think anyone can figure it out.

Hello, sibojang9
This handling has been in place for at least a decade, and I don't believe that it is likely to change without a very large level of user demand. If we see more support for this, perhaps we will reconsider, but for now, this will remain as is. This also appears to be a fairly standard layout, in testing advanced search functions from our competitors (EG, Acrobat): Kind regards,
