When multiple panes are displayed, by default the panes overlap in the same display area, and clicking on a tab switches to the respective pane. Depending on the width of the pane, each tab is displayed as either the name of the pane or as an icon, but I have noticed that tooltips are unstable when displayed as icons. In other words, in some cases tooltips do not appear when hovering the mouse pointer over a tab, and the pattern of symptoms is a bit odd.
In the video, I reset the settings as usual and then enabled all panes. It does not matter if only some of the panes are enabled. After that, I hover over each tab in turn, from left to right, and at some point tooltips stop showing up. Then close the file, open a new file, and hover over the tabs in the same manner, but this time the tooltips will disappear on all tabs.
If I widen the pane so that the name appears on the tab instead of the icon, and then narrow the pane again so that the icon appears, the tooltips appear when I hover over the tab again. However, at some point there is an icon that does not show tooltips, and once that happens, tooltips will not show up on subsequent tabs, even if you hover over them.
Words may not convey this well, but if you actually operate the tooltips, you will notice that there are times when the tooltips are not displayed when the tabs in the pane are in icon view.
Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
