Replace Fonts ignores (/does not apply to) stroke color SOLVED

Hi Support,

I'm using Replace Fonts feature to replace text color (so, only color) ...

The Current/New Color is only applied to "fill" color and not also to "stroke" color.

Could you make it so that the new color is applied both to fill and stroke, OR add "Current Stroke Color" and "New Stroke Color" to font replace rules.

Technically speaking, this is not part of the character data:

But part of the "page content" - "container" which holds the text string:

As such, this could have unintended side effects. For example, manually changing the stroke color, will break a single container item:

Into three parts:

image(3).png

The same could happen in bulk with the replace fonts process.

I will raise the idea for consideration, but I am unsure if it will be accepted.

I was driven by the fact that you do allow to "Edit Text" and to change stroke color (even though not a part of character data):

Yes, this will "brake the container" - but your "Edit Text" still knows how to "group" containers.

Indeed, that is how I did the same for my example. To my surprise, we now have a ticket on this item!
