Dergister Followed by Adding Seats

Post by RockHillRanch »

Good Evening ... recent computer upgrades require that I move PDF XChange Editor (current 10.5.2, build 395) from one computer to another. As I also added a laptop, I have need of additional licenses (a total of 3 for my current situation). Just doing a sanity check to confirm my plans and to ask a few questions.
  • I will deregister the one machine that is no longer in service.
Install PDF XChange Editor on the new desktop.
Purchase additional seats so I will have the ability to install on two more devices.
Install PDF XChange Editor on my new laptop.
Questions:
  • Will my license key change for the additional seats?
In other words, will I have "two" keys to copy / paste with indicators that one or the other is "used up"?
I have a fourth machine but am not sure if it is compatible with PDF XChange Editor. This is a portable Microsoft Surface with attached keyboard and touchscreen capability. Is PDF XChange Editor compatible with this machine? Any real experience using it on this "tablet like" environment?
Many Thanks,
Ann at Rock Hill Ranch

Hello Ann,

Welcome to our Forum.
Will my license key change for the additional seats?
Yes, it will.
In other words, will I have "two" keys to copy / paste with indicators that one or the other is "used up"?
Just one license key, to be used on all devices.

I have a fourth machine but am not sure if it is compatible with PDF XChange Editor. This is a portable Microsoft Surface with attached keyboard and touchscreen capability. Is PDF XChange Editor compatible with this machine?

If it is running on the normal version of Windows OS, yes, it will be compatible.

However, you might new he ARM installer for this:
