A few questions that came to mind:

1. Can search results be grouped by page number?

Holding the SHIFT or CTRL button and multi-selection does not work.

Currently this is possible only if you annotate them:

CTRL does work for me!

May I ask which version is your PDF Editor?

If there are a lot of search results, it will be cumbersome to add a comment to each result in order to group them later.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding, but for #1, comments are already grouped by page:

As for #2, I think Dimitar may have mistakenly been referring to the comments pane in this case. The search pane is essentially intended as a navigation system, so there shouldn't really be any need for multi-selection to begin with.

We don't fully agree with this.
If we have a dozen or so search results on page 3, for example, how can we select only those from page 3 without selecting those from other pages?

As in #2, there is no way to select multiple search results at once currently.

The search pane is not designed as a selection tool, it is a navigation tool at its core. Might I ask for more clarification on the reason you need to select multiple of these navigation actions at once?

For example, the attached file.

We search for SB5, found 29 items on pages 1-3.

Now we need to know how many of these 29 items are on page 2.

Next, we want to mark the items from page 2 in bulk with some color, but we don't want to do it by marking one by one.

We hope this is clearly explained.

Thank you for the example, yes, I can see how such a use case could be beneficial. I have raised the topic with the Dev team now for review. I cant promise anything at this point, but if I have good news I will come back to let you know.

This is a low priority request, due to the complexity, and will likely be a long term item as well, but we do now have a ticket for this:
