first of all: PDF-XChange is amazing - all the stuff that you can do with it is so helpful.
Using the JavaScript interface we developed our own custom tools that helps us a lot in our office.
But one question related to this:
Is there any way to export the JavaScripts folder together with the settings so colleagues can just import the settings - like one can do it with stamps?
For some colleagues it is already a hurdle to drag and drop the JavaScripts folder to their app data
I am afraid that the Export Settings does not include the JS folder.
I will ask our devs if that can be done for the future, but for the time being your colleagues will need to copy that folder manually.
Kind regards,
Stefan
p.s. The FR has been approved and ticket created: #7533: FR: Export JavaScripts Folder together with settings
If you are operating in a company environment you might want to consider deploying the javascript from a central repository to client machines. We are using Group Policies to deploy a bunch of js files to the %AppData% folder of our employees.
