I often need to convert bulk text files (just plain *.txt) to PDFs using the "Convert Files to PDFs" tool.
I am finding that end-of-line is not being handled as expected. A single paragraph mark (CR/LF) are ignored and I have to use two paragraph marks to create a new line in the PDF output.
A text file with these lines:
********** Start of File
This is line 1.
This is line 2.
This is line 5 after 2 blanks.
This is line 6.
********** End of File
looks like this in the PDF generated by PDF-Tools:
This is line 1. This is line 2.
This is line 5 after 2 blanks. This is line 6.
I have tried this with both the Text and MS Word File converters but end up with the same output.
Chances are I will smack my head and say "I'm such an idiot" when I see the answer but any help would be appreciated.

Re: Text-->PDF end-of-line issue
Hello, Duke9700
I am fairly confident that I just replied to your email as you posted this. In the future, please do only open contact through one medium, the same team watches both at all times of the day.
In any case, for others who are experiencing this same issue, The dev team has been informed, we are able to reproduce it locally, and the only "workaround" I can suggest is to print the files form notepad, instead of using our conversion functions. Since that solution is not ideal for a batch process you mentioned needing, I didn't include it in my email, but I do hope this helps someone else.
The next release is being targeted for early august, but I cannot offer a more concrete date at this time.
Kind regards,
