Ränder werden abgeschnitten
writing in german....sorry
PDF Xchange Viewer FREE
Windows XP
2.0 Build 40.7
Standardmäßig ist beim Drucken...
...Seite aufbereiten > Skalierungsart: keine hinterlegt.
PCL
EDIT: in english
PDF Xchange Viewer FREE
Windows XP
2.0 Build 40.7
by default in printing dialog (CTRL + P) under page scaling > scaling type is set to None
with this settings, the document is cut on the right and the lower (down) page,
we have to set page scaling > scaling type is set to fit to printer margins, now the document is printed correct.
is it possible to make page scaling > scaling type is set to fit to printer margins to the default configuration, so we have not to set the option in next document again.

Re: Ränder werden abgeschnitten
The behaviour I see is that the Print Dialogue remembers the last used setting, e.g. Fit to Printer Margins.
In my view, that is preferable to always using the same print scaling option.
Users can choose whatever print scaling option they prefer, and that will be used until they change it.

Hello Snoopy1208,
Welcome to our forums!
This is a 16 years old topic, and the things discussed in it would have likely changed many times over those years.
Can you please let us know which build of our products is currently installed on your machine, and can you try to update to the current latest one and let us know if this helps?
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello Snoopy1208,
May we have a screenshot of the settings, the PDF Edit For reverts to? Also, may I ask what kind of a security software/antivirus do you have installed on your computer, and do you have a system cleaner application, like CCleaner?

Hello Snoopy1208,
Thanks for the information provided.
These are not the default settings so it seems that settings are reverted to some previous state!
May I ask you to backup the PDF Editor settings and then reset them to their default state.
You can do this from here:

Hello Snoopy1208,
If you continue to lose your personal settings, it means that something indeed is reverting the changes made by our software to the registry.
Please add the PDF editor as well as its folders to the whitelist in your Trendmicro Antivirus software and check if that helps.
Regards.

Re: Ränder werden abgeschnitten
Hi all,
This can also be something document-specific.
When the document in question is open and active in PDF-XChange Editor, can you please verify via File > Document Properties > Advanced, what is the setting for "Page Scaling". It might be set to "None" instead of "Default".
If so, then select "Default", click OK and try printing again.
Datei > Dokumenteigenschaften > Erweitert
Skalierung =nicht festgelegt / Standard
Keep us posted.
Kind regards.

Re: Ränder werden abgeschnitten
That is a good point, Willy.
That could possibly affect the printing settings, yes.
