Good Monday morning,
During using of the PDF-XChange Editor Plus I and my colleagues recently open files from the corporate site, the address of the documents is always the same, e.g. https://corporate.site/documents/XXXXXXXX.pdf, where the XXXXXXXX.pdf is the documents name which is being copying from another application.
So, currently we open the files just by using standard way File=>Open=>Open from URL and then replace the last opened document name.
My question, now to create a custom "Open from URL" command with predefined path https://corporate.site/documents/ and with the input of the file name only?
E.g.
Thank you for your help!

Re: HOWTO: Custom open from URL command
Hello,
I am afraid that that is not possible, at least not with the built-in tools the PDF Editor has.
I guess you can achieve this using JavaScript, but to be honest I am not sure how exactly can this be set up.
Regards.

Hello, bayer_a
One small note here, while it is not stritcly a direct "url path" autofill in this specific dialogue, if your resources are on a Sharepoint, WebDav, Onedrive, or other supported connection, you would be able to use the "add a place" function we offer, to create a shortcut to browse this resource directly: Your it admins may have some ideas on how to implement such systems locally if it could improve your workflow.
Kind regards,
