PDF-XChange Editor 10.6.0.396 sometimes hangs when performing Convert Colors operation on a doc from the Search

The problem is intermittent, but I encountered it three times in the last two days with different documents, and I believe that it is systematic.

To reproduce the error, take a fairly large array of local PDF documents (in my case, it is almost 9000 files, 150 GB), perform a search on it that will find several documents, open one of them, at least a hundred pages in size (the bug may not depend on the number of pages), and start converting image colors from RGB to Grayscale. When converting such a document without using search, the process will complete without errors. However, if the document is opened from search results, the application sometimes freezes and completely stops responding. The only way to continue working with it is to force it to crash, restart, and restart the search, because in this case the application does not offer to restore the state before the crash (search result and open documents). The problem occurs both when performing a search and after it is completed.

I have dump creation enabled for applications, sometimes files appear in the folder you specified, which I delete or send to the developers of the corresponding applications for diagnostics, but these particular PDF-XChange Editor freezes do not cause dump files to be created.
