Hello all,
If the Loupe Tool pane is not docked, the tool is disabled when the pane is closed by pressing the close button in the upper right corner of the pane. However, I noticed that when the pane is docked, the tool is not disabled when the pane is closed. Therefore, if the “Track Mouse” mode is enabled, even a movement of the mouse cursor to the page view area after closing a pane will cause the pane to reopen.
The following are the steps to verify this in the video.
- Pan and Zoom tool
- 1A: With the pane undocked, open and then close it.
1B: With the pane docked, open and then close it.
- 1A: With the pane undocked, open and then close it.
- Loupe Tool
- 2A: With the pane undocked, open and then close it.
2B: With the pane docked, open and then close it.
- 2A: With the pane undocked, open and then close it.
The Pan and Zoom tool works the same regardless of whether the pane is docked or not, but the Loupe Tool works differently depending on whether the pane is docked or not.
Personally, I find the behavior shown in 2B for the Loupe Tool a bit odd.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
Best regards,
rakunavi
