No direct editing:
PDF-XChange Editor does not allow direct modification of the content within a stamp once it has been applied to a document. Please change this to allow for editing/updating custom stamps. It is very frustrating to have to recreate a stamp in its entirety for minor changes.

Re: Custom Stamp Editing
Hi, CBF_M_2025
I am afraid that is dictated by the ISO PDF specifications. Once placed stamps are immutable.
This is intended. If you want to change what you stamped, you will need to apply a second stamp, or use a different approach. Comments for example may be modified after applying them.
It is the nature of stamps however that they cannot be changed after applying them.
I expect you will find all other compliant PDF software does the same.

in response to CBF_M_2025:
If I understand correctly, I completely agree that it is easy to create a custom STAMP, but modifying it afterwards is either too complicated or impossible, which is a shame!

Re: Custom Stamp Editing
Hi,
The digital stamp acts just like the real one; once placed, it becomes static.
The digital stamps should be designed in a way that all edits can/should be made before placing it.
Once you're done with the design, you may save it as a template in the Stamp Creation tool, and use it later for a ground design for another stamp, similar to this one.

And that's where it gets complicated!
A link to how to create, manage, and more specifically "MODIFY" “my” stamps?
Thanks
