Issue with printing PDFs directly from external program

Hi!


I use a program where I can select multiple PDFs and click “Print”. When Adobe Acrobat Pro is set as my default PDF application, the files are printed directly - it just briefly opens and closes Adobe.

After switching to PDF-XChange Editor as my default PDF application, this no longer works. Instead of printing, PDF-XChange Editor just opens the program and nothing else.

Is there a way to fix this?

You would likely need to reach out to the developers of that other program. Our Editor should accept command line actions, like a /print command, with options to avoid showing the UI, and silently print without interaction.

It could be that they are configured specifically for use with acrobat, and are not using switches which are compatible with our software.
