When opening a PDF portfolio, executing the print command from the portfolio tab, and printing all files contained within the PDF portfolio at once, I noticed that the layer settings for each file are not correctly reflected. Additionally, as shown later, I noticed that the same issue occurs when opening multiple files in tabs and applying the “Print All” command to them.
The sample PDF portfolio contains a total of six files: A.pdf through F.pdf. Each file originally came from the same source file, containing six text box comments, each belonging to a separate layer labeled A through F. By switching the layer display settings for each file, they were saved as six distinct files and then combined into a single PDF portfolio.
The verification video below opens the print dialog for the PDF portfolio file in both PDF-XChange Editor and Adobe Acrobat. When opening the print dialog for individual files in PDF-XChange Editor, only one text box appears in the preview. However, when printing the entire PDF portfolio file, the layer settings are not reflected for files other than A.pdf. In contrast, when selecting and printing all files within the PDF portfolio in Adobe Acrobat, the layer settings for each component file are correctly reflected in the preview.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
