Hello, I'm a user of PDF-Xchange Editor version 10.1.1 build 381.
For some time now, the "copy and paste" function has stopped working.
Let me explain: when I select any element already on the sheet (for example, a stamp, a line, or a text box) and try to use the "copy" function (or Ctrl+C), nothing happens. The "paste" function (Ctrl+V) doesn't activate, it doesn't work, and therefore I can't copy and paste any objects.
While until a few weeks ago, it worked perfectly with any object?
What could have happened?
Thanks!
Problem with "copy and paste"

Hello ADRO1972,
Welcome to our Forum.
This issue appears similar to the one discussed in the following forum thread:
viewtopic.php?t=46590
Could you please confirm whether your computer is part of a company-managed network, or if it’s running in an environment such as Citrix, or similar to it?
Regards.

Re: Problem with "copy and paste"
My PC is part of a company-managed network.
But PDF-Xchange Editor isn't running in the Citrix environment; it's running locally.
But... another program is running in Citrix on the same PC.
In fact, I just tried closing that program running in Citrix, and the "copy and paste" function, as if by magic, works...!!!
So, to use the "copy and paste" function in PDF-Xchange Editor, do I have to always close the windows of other programs running in Citrix?
Is there no other solution?

Hello ADRO1972,
Regards.
As far as I know, Citrix has fixed their bug, but to resolve the issue in full, this would mean updating the Citrix core on the managing server. Is there no other solution?
Regards.

Is it possible to know in which version the bug was fixed?

Re: Problem with "copy and paste"
Hello, ADRO1972
The only official communication we have seen from Citrix is that it was resolved in their 2507 release, however, it is important to note that you will want to ensure that BOTH the Citrix workspace app, as well as the "VDA" (Virtual delivery agent)/Citrix reviver app, and any related items not only on your end user device, but on the server itself, are all full up to date..
And finally, the part system admins are going to hate... The fix from Citrix seems to require both a server and end user device restart to properly take effect.
Kind regards,

Re: Problem with "copy and paste"
Hi!
I'm an Citrix administrator for my company and we have a user with the same issue.
When he have an Citrix application running in the background, copy and paste doesn't work properly.
As far as I understand, text can be copied but not symbols and such.
Can you please share the link from Citrix about this issue and what version to be used?
Regards, Roger

Re: Problem with "copy and paste"
Hello, Roger N
I do not have a link to provide, but as noted in my previous post, the issue has been resolved on their end as of October last year. If you have their "2507" release or later, and all of the related/secondary applications are updated, this issue should not occur.
When in doubt, ensure that the entire system is as fully up to date as possible.

But the user updated to latest Citrix Workspace and then the issue was resolved, lets see if it's permanent or not
Thank you for your reply!
